Shorthorn Youth at Sydney Royal

The Shorthorn Youth club once again showed its dominance in various competitions at the recent Sydney Royal Easter Show.

There were five past and present members of the youth club (pictured) in the state finals of the Junior Judging with Kinross Wolaroi student Diana George awarded Reserve Champion Junior Judge, Chad Williamson placed 4th and Ned Williams placed 5th. Shorthorn youth also dominated the junior judging finals of the RAS Heifer Show with the top 4 places going to past and present youth club members. 1st place went to Caitlyn Warner, 2nd to Jasmine Nixon, 3rd Eliza Newcomb and 4th Ashley Morris. Congratulations to these competitors.

During the Shorthorn Judging all youth club members are also being judged for the Max O'Keefe Memorial trophy. First place was awarded to Katie DeJong and she receives a semen package from Polldale Shorthorns. We thank The O'Keefe family and Polldale Shorthorns for their sponsorship of this award.
